WHY IS IT SO?

Why is it so? That I am unable to forget you, Why is it so? That I still crave for your love too. Why is it so? There’s still a tinge of hope, it's true, Why is it so? Not a day without thoughts of you. Why is it so? After all those things we went through, I am not able to take you out of my mind, I rue.   Yes, it's growing tougher with each passing day But it's fine, I'll bear with it, come what may. Just in a hope, once more, that someday, Pass by without thoughts of you, in some way. A time will come when hopes will not stay, And for you, my heart will no longer pray.   Someday, memories won’t bring pain, just love's touch, The sweet essence of first love, I'll cherish much. Someday, I'll be completely free from this clutch, But until then, this path I embrace, Because after all, it's a part of life, as such.

Echoes of Lost Love: A Journey of Regret and Longing

Echoes of yesterday murmur softly, so sweet, A melody of dreamy notes, complete. Images of long-lost moments flicker Like ghosts haunting the ruins of a heart and just begin to whimper Where love once bloomed in vibrant colors Now echoes of past linger Leaving behind bittersweet tears.   Find myself tangled in the web of acceptance of parting That we're no longer bound, just you and me. you have moved on and fine being friends But accepting friendship, you see!! Is a bridge too far for me. I am still here, stuck in the past Wandering in shadows, paying the cost Still drenched in the rain of our lost love That was so vast   I recall the excitement of our first embrace The mix of emotions, the spark on your face That first eye-contact, a nervous hand-shake Shivery voice, heart about to break. Indeed, it was a story to be told, Your smile, more precious than gold Oh, the memories play on repeat Of a love that’s now discret...

MAY BE YOU WERE RIGHT, AND I WAS WRONG

May be you were right And I was wrong For keeping hopes so strong Thought that our love would last as beautiful song a bond that would forever last all along But my poor heart, it was not meant to be Cause my love, never saw the love for him in me Thought that you would treasure me dearly Value the time I patiently waited But you remained silent and dreary Making my hopes subsided Battles inside waged day and night The voice within urged me not to wait But me foolishly, So in love fell for love’s sweet bait In the end they were right, Its just that in love I lost my sight Thought that our love would prevail And never cause a fuss But who knew? The distance did become a curse Waited months, for you to come back Who once promised me would never leave my back Never thought my hometown would be so different Wandering here and there, searching for you, while I know YOU aren’t Unforgettable   navartri, with so much pain A...

COURT                                                - CHAITANYA TAMHANE The film "Court" is a masterwork of cinema that explores the complexities of the Indian court system while also providing commentary on social injustice and human nature. The film, directed by Chaitanya Tamhane, takes audiences on a thought-provoking trip through the folk singer's trial who is charged with using his inflammatory lyrics to encourage the death of a sewage worker. Every shot of the movie displays Tamhane's directorial talent as he in detail goes through the passageways of the legal system. He portrays the procedural formalities, the bureaucratic red tape, and the elements of courtroom proceedings. The film effectively highlights the systemic problems and absurdities in the legal system by mirroring the slow and frequently irritating tempo of the Indian judiciary. An outst...

LIVING WITH IKIGAI

Image
In a world where we often find ourselves caught up in the chaos of daily life, the Japanese concept of ikigai offers a reminder to live with intention, purpose, and love. What exactly is Ikigai? Being translated, this Japanese idea means "the happiness of always being busy”. It never misses a chance to surprise us that this haven of nearly eternal life was located precisely in Okinawa, where two hundred thousand innocent lives were lost at the end of World War II. But instead of holding grudges against foreigners, Okinawans follow the local principle "ichariba chode," which translates to "treat everyone like a brother, even if you've never met them before." They have a long history of yuimaaru, or teamwork, and are always supportive to one another.   Nurturing friendships, eating light, getting enough rest, and doing regular, moderate exercise are all part of the equation of good health, but according to Joie De Vivre what inspires these centenarian...
